In the SAP ecosystem, Vetta is a SAP Services Partner with extensive experience in building custom solutions over the SAP NetWeaver (NW) platform. SAP NetWeaver is a complete integration platform, covering people-centric integration, information-centric integration as well as process-centric integration (see figure). In the NW arena, Vetta has successfully developed mission-critical, business solutions for:
- Enterprise application development based on Java EE stack, using SAP NW Web Application Server (WAS) and SAP NW Web Dynpro framework;
- Enterprise application integration based on SAP NW Process Integration (PI) product;
- Business intelligence based on SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) and SAP BusinessObjects (BO) solutions;
- Business process management using SAP NW BPM (code-named Galaxy) as well as the previous integration of SAP workfl ow solutions with IDS Scheer ARIS platform;
- Master data management (MDM), synchronizing data records such as customer, product, people, and others, among several heterogeneous enterprise systems;
- Corporate, enterprise portals (intranets and extranets) using the SAP NW Enterprise Portal platform.
Vetta has also deployed several real-time performance management (RTPM) systems. For the manufacturing industry, Vetta typically utilizes SAP MII – Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence. This platform combines highly versatile shop-floor integration capabilities (including connectors to several PIMS, LIMS, SCADA, database, ERP, and historian products) with a flexible dashboard composition environment, enabling the development of rich dashboards and cockpits. In all of its projects, Vetta works according to welldefined processes based on acknowledged best practices and bodies of knowledge such as PMBOK, CMMI, ITIL. Vetta’s application development unit is CMMI Level 3 certified, and most of its employees are certified professionals by SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Sun, Oracle, and others.
